The SATO S-ex series are print engines — the printing core that sits inside a print-and-apply applicator on a packaging line, rather than a standalone printer. They are unusually accommodating with consumables: media wound face-in or face-out, fanfold, and ribbons wound either ink-side, up to 600 m.
