About Vantage Labels
Vantage Labels supplies blank thermal transfer labels, direct thermal labels, laser sheets and printer ribbons to businesses across Canada. We hold standard sizes in stock, publish the full specification on every product page, and ship domestically in Canadian dollars.
What we sell
Our catalogue covers four product families: thermal transfer labels, direct thermal labels, laser sheets and thermal transfer ribbons. We do not sell printers, packaging or general office supplies.
The narrow range is deliberate. A supplier carrying labels alongside thousands of unrelated products is rarely able to advise on core sizes, facestock coatings or ribbon formulations, because no one on staff works with those things often enough to know them. Since blank labels and ribbons are the only products we handle, we can answer those questions directly and specify the correct material for an application before an order is placed.
Experience behind the business
Vantage was founded with two partner, one who has worked in the North American label industry for more than forty years, across converting, product specification and technical support for thermal printing. The founding partner has over 20 years of experience in logistics, design and technology.
That background determined how the catalogue was built. The sizes we stock were chosen on the basis of what customers reorder rather than what is easiest to buy, the specification tables on product pages were written to answer the questions that actually cause returns, and our printer compatibility information reflects how these machines behave in use.
Canadian manufacturing and shipping
Our labels are manufactured in Canada by Thermal Media, a trade-only converter with more than thirty years in the market. Orders ship from our warehouse in Toronto, Ontario by domestic carrier.
For a Canadian buyer, ordering domestically removes several costs and delays that come with importing thermal media from the United States:
- No duty or customs brokerage. The total at checkout is the total cost of the order, with no third-party brokerage fee invoiced afterwards.
- No border delays. Domestic shipments are not held for customs clearance, so lead times are predictable.
- Canadian dollar pricing. Prices, invoices and payments are in CAD, with no exchange rate movement between order and delivery and no foreign transaction fee from your card issuer.
- Support in Canadian business hours. Enquiries are answered during your working day by staff who can check the stock in question.
How we operate
Full specifications published
Every product page lists width, height, core size, outer diameter, labels per roll and per case, adhesive, finish, perforation and wind direction. You should not have to contact a supplier to find out what you are buying.
One published price
Prices are visible without an account and are the same for every customer. There are no pricing tiers, no login requirement and no quote process to work through before you can compare cost.
Stock held, not made to order
We carry standard sizes in depth rather than converting each order individually, so commonly ordered items ship from existing inventory instead of entering a production schedule.
Documented claims only
We publish a material property or certification only where we hold the manufacturer’s documentation for it. If you need confirmation of a property we have not published, we will obtain it from the mill’s technical data sheet before you order.
Who we supply
Our customers include shipping and fulfilment operations, manufacturers, warehouses and distribution centres, food producers, laboratories, clinics, pharmacies, print shops and third-party logistics providers. Requirements range from a single case a month to regular pallet quantities, and the published price applies in both cases.
