Toshiba chassis differ more than the model numbers suggest. The B-EV4T takes a 110 m ribbon with a 40 mm maximum outside diameter — a standard 300 m ribbon will not physically fit — while the B-FV4T takes 300 m on the same 0.5"/1" cores. Both have a rear fanfold slot.

Compact printers for benches and shipping stations — typically 5" rolls on 1" cores and shorter ribbons.
