The Honeywell PC42E-T is a budget thermal transfer desktop printer that takes both half-inch and 1-inch ribbon cores via a switch on the ribbon spindle, so it accepts the short desktop ribbons and the longer 1-inch ones. Media is 5-inch rolls on 1 or 1.5-inch cores, and fanfold is supported. Ribbons must be wound coated side out.
